Chiyomi Miyajima (Biographical Profile)

She received a B.E. degree in computer science and an M.E. and a Doctorate in electrical and computer engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1996, 1998, and 2001, respectively. From 2001 to 2003, she was a research associate of the Department of Computer Science, Nagoya Institute of Technology. Currently she is an assistant professor of the Graduate School of Information Science, Nagoya University, Japan. Her research interests include speaker recognition, sign language recognition, multimodal speech recognition, and modeling of driving behavior. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE), the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), and the Acoustical Society of Japan (ASJ).
